Over 220 Eritreans Repatriated From Ethiopia

Over 220 Eritreans were repatriated Tuesday from Ethiopia under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), an ICRC press release said.

According to the release, the Eritreans have been living in Addis Ababa.

After leaving Ethiopia, the Eritreans will be taken care of by ICRC delegates based in Asmara, capital of Eritrea, who will finally hand them over to the Eritrean government, the release said.

This is the fourth repatriation of Eritrean civilians from Ethiopia since the two Horn of African countries signed the peace agreement in December, 2000 to end their border war.
