P&G Chairman Praises HK's Business Environment
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Procter and Gamble (P&G) John Pepper spoke highly of Hong Kong's business environment during his meeting with Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa Wednesday.
"All along, Hong Kong has been of great strategic importance to P&G due to the uniqueness of its free trade environment, government policy of minimum intervention in business, upholding of the law and simple tax structure," Pepper said.
"The meeting with the Chief Executive was fruitful in establishing a common understanding on P&G's beliefs and values, and the future business opportunities for foreign investments in China," he added.
