Sweden Handicraft Exhibit Opens in South China

An exotic Swedish handicraft exhibition was unveiled Saturday.

Held at the Guangzhou Arts Museum, the handicraft on show include hand-knitted woolen carpets, flower baskets made of rice stems, and flax Swedish costumes.

The exhibition was sponsored by Linkiping, the capital of Ostergotland in Sweden as part of the exchanges between the third Swedish city and Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province.

Among those present at the ceremony were Anna Lindgren, deputy- mayor of Linkoping and Chen Chuanyu, deputy mayor of Guangzhou.
