Russia Reaffirms Consistent Contact Policy with JapanThe recent Japanese cabinet reshuffle will not shift the ongoing political contacts between Russia and Japan, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov said Tuesday, December 5.Ivanov said the slight change will not affect the Japanese Foreign Ministry, meanwhile inviting his Japanese counterpart Yohei Kono, who is staying at his original post in the reshuffle," to visit Russia before the end of this year or at the beginning of the next year."
