Premier Zhu Rongji left Cheju Island for home Sunday after concluding an official visit to South Korea and attending the Third Asia-Europe Meeting in Seoul.
Zhu arrived at the island Saturday from Seoul for a brief visit.
During his six-day stay in the country, Zhu held talks with South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, Prime Minister Lee Han-dong and political party leaders on bilateral relations and the situation in the Korean Peninsula.
Zhu also attended the two-day Asia-Europe Meeting, which ended Saturday.
