Xinjiang Holds Tourism Festival
The week-long women's national beach volleyball match opened at Jinshatan Beach in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Wednesday.
This is part of the activities for the month-long tourism festival being held at the Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Bayingolin in Xinjiang. Other activities include performance, evening gala, trade fair, symposium and garment show.
Known as the largest prefecture in China, Bayingolin is endowed with Baghrash Lake, the largest inland fresh water lake in China; the Tarim River, China's longest inland river; and Bayan Bulag swan preserve, the largest of its kind in China
