Senior CPC Official Meets Japanese Guests

Zeng Qinghong, an alternate member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met Tuesday with the secretaries-general of the three coalition parties of the Japanese government.

Hiromu Nonaka of the Liberal Democratic Party, Tetsuzo Fuyushiba of the New Komeito Party, and Takeshi Noda of the New Conservative Party, and their associates are visiting China on behalf of Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori.

Zeng, also a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, exchanged views with the guests on promoting a Sino- Japanese friendly and cooperative partnership devoted to peace and development and friendly relations.

They also discussed other issues of common concern.
