The A321 Airbus belonging to Asiana Airlines of the Republic of Korea (ROK) arrived from the ROK capital of Seoul at 12:30, according to a local airport official.
Guilin receives nearly 10 million tourists from all over the world every year, the official said, adding that the city's airport has opened two international air routes to Fukuoka in Japan and Seoul, respectively, since it became operational in 1996. Last year, more than 600,000 overseas tourists visited the city.
