China Hu: Chinese Youth Should Make More Contribution to Motherland

�� Chinese Vice President Hu Jintao encouraged all Chinese young people to work hard and promote the development of world peace in the new century. Hu made the remarks while he met with Chinese youth representatives from all over the world Friday in Beijing's Great Hall of the People.

�� Hu also stressed that China's reunification is a thread that binds Chinese youth everywhere.

These representatives are in Beijing to take part in Saturday's Dragon Dance at the Great Wall.

�� To celebrate the Chinese Lantern Festival, the activity was organized by the China Youth Federation, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government and the Beijing municipal government.
