China 18 More Trapped Miners Rescued

Another 18 people were rescued on January 16 from the Dahuangshan Coal Mine in east China's Jiangsu Province, following an underground flooding accident that trapped 63 miners in a pit on January 11.

So far, 41 miners have been rescued, 14 have been reported killed, and eight are still missing.

Rescue work is continuing at the mine, located in the city of Xuxhou.
