Business China.com to Place 224 Million Dollars of New Shares in New York

The China.com Corp., a Chinese internet company listed in New York, will place more than 220 million US dollars of new shares, the China Securities reports on January 11.

According to the company's plan, a total of 2.91 million new shares worth about 224.8 million US dollars will be placed.

Meanwhile, stockholders of China.com will sell 970,000 original shares, worth about 750,000 dollars, the newspaper said.
