Sci-Tech High-Tech System for Garbage Treatment Now Used in China

The wish of residents in the Chinese capital to live in a clean city is a step closer to coming true now that researchers have developed a new recycling system to treat garbage.

Created by the Huizhong (Group) Stock Co., Ltd. in Hubei province, central China, in cooperation with other research institutions, the equipment is designed to eliminate the enormous amount of household trash churned out in large cities.

Experts said the State-approved garbage treatment system is one of world's most advanced of the kind.

Sources from the Huizhong Group said the system recycles the garbage using high pressure, intense heat and other means so as to make full use of the waste. Organic and inorganic matter are separated, made into fine grain, and processed as organic fertilizer and about 30 other types of building material.

Experts said that the system should be promoted because it's cheap, doesn't take up much land, and saves a large amount of resources. (Xinhua)
