Culture Paleolithic Articles Found in East China

Archeologists have found a group of articles dating back to the Paleolithic Era in east China's Jiangsu Province.

A total of 23 specimens, including 16 stone articles, were unearthed recently at Fangniu Mountain near the city of Jurong. These articles are believed to be more than 300,000 years old, and archeologists note that the mountain was once the home of ancient human beings.

In 1993, the skull of a prehistoric man was found at Tangshan Mountain near Nanjing, less than 100 kilometers from Jurong. Possible links between the two discoveries are under investigation.

Archeologists say that these discoveries will play a significant role in research into the origin of human beings and the immigration and life of ancient people in China.
