China Yugoslav Foreign Minister Says China Visit Successful

Zivadin Jovanovic, foreign minister of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, said on December 29 that his visit to China was successful.

During his stay in China he visited Shanghai, met with Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji, and held constructive and fruitful talks with his Chinese counterpart Tang Jiaxuan.

He said that he discussed international issues, regional problems, and bilateral cooperation in politics and economics.

Yugoslavia expects more Chinese enterprises to take part in the rebuilding of the Yugoslav economy.

The Yugoslav foreign minister arrived in China last Saturday at the invitation of foreign minister Tang Jiaxuan.
