China Macao SAR Govt Authorized to Take Over Former Macao Govt Properties

China's State Council has decided to authorize the government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China to take over and be responsible for checking the entire properties and debts of the former Macao government, and to administrate the properties on its own according to the Basic Law of the Macao SAR, starting on December 20. (Xinhua)
