China's light industry collectives have registered 226.7 billion yuan (27.3 billion US dollars) of annual total industrial output value, accounting for 14 percent of the country's total industrial output value, an official of the All-China Federation of Handicraft Cooperatives announced on December 9.

The 11 sectors of light industry, which is composed mainly of collective enterprises, have achieved 43 billion US dollars of annual exports, accounting for a quarter of the country's total exports.
