Sports Beijing Ducks Snaps Bayi Rockets Unbeaten Run

Beijing Ducks fought from behind to stop the winning streak of the ruling champions Bayi Rockets on Tuesday in the sixth round match of the China Basketball League.

Inspired by the partisan crowds, the Ducks showed their character as they overcame a 41-45 halftime deficit to pull out an 89-86 upset over Rockets, which has been unbeaten since the season opened.

In Guangdong, Tigers kept on the heels of the league leaders as they beat Hubei Mei'erya 133-112 to stay second in the rankings.

In Shanghai, Sharks proved too much for the visiting Zhejiang Cyclone as they overcame the sluggishness in the first half before they stormed to a 103-85 rout.

In Shenyang, Liaoning Hunters reduced the Nanjing Army to the sixth straight loss with a convincing 113-80 victory.
