Chinese environment protection experts have made it a point to promote a nationwide technology to generate electricity through the burning of garbage and waste.

The process was developed at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province.

A dozen cities in China, including Xi'an, Ningbo, Zhengzhou, plan to use the process in an effort to dispose of rubbish and waste at no cost to the environment.
