Sci-Tech Symposium on China's Aerospace Take-off and National Industrial Development Held

China Aerospace Foundation lately called a symposium attended by representatives from TCL Holding Corporation Ltd., China Shipbuilding (Group) Corporation Ltd., China Great Wall Computer Group and others to probe into the topic to advance China's aerospace take-off and development of various national industrial lines.

A view held by the participants is that China's aerospace industry, as an elite industrial branch of high technology, plays a prominent role in motivating an overall development of high-technologies in advancing the technological development of the country's communications, new material production, computer industry, energy and medicine production, etc. Inestimable economic and social benefits will be achieved when these should be utilized in production and for a raise of productivity. Views had also been fully exchanged by the participants on efforts for tapping the potentialities, making full use of aerospace materials and strengthening cooperation between enterprises for developing national industries.
