Business SAIT Boosts E-business Development

It is learned from the E-business development seminar of the '99 Commodity Distribution Industry that developing E-business is a major issue confronting China's internal trade departments. Some related departments will enhance E-business exchange and co-operation and promote the development of E-business in China.

It is reported that most internal trade enterprises in China are small in scales, backward in management, and failing to meet the requirements of a market economic structure. To remedy this situation, the State Administration of Internal Trade (SAIT) has decided to adopt measures to encourage enterprises to develop new sales methods, such as chain business, commodity agency, and commodity circulation and distribution, but these methods cannot be developed without the operation of E-business.
