Business Anhui to Hear Complaints from Overseas Investors

East China's Anhui Province has set up a special agency to handle complaints from overseas and domestic investors in the province.

The complaint center was created jointly by a dozen departments including the provincial discipline inspection committee, the provincial supervisory department, and the provincial committee of foreign trade and economic cooperation.

To safeguard their rights and interest, investors with problems can dial (0551) 2608802 to express their complaints, which will be handled in a timely fashion, authorities say, calling the center a part of the efforts to improve the investment environment in the province.

Anhui has attracted a large amount of foreign funds and technology in recent years, but it still lags far behind compared with other economically advantaged provinces. (Xinhua)
