World Senior CPC Official Leaves for Turkey and Syria

Li Tieying, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and his party left Beijing on November 20 on an official goodwill visit to Turkey and Syria.

Li is invited by the Motherland Party of Turkey and the Arab Baath Socialist Party of Syria.

Senior Chinese officials, Turkish ambassador to China Daryal Batibay and Syrian charge d'affaires to China Suleiman Aad saw Li off at the airport. (Xinhua)
