At the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev will pay a state visit to China from November 23 to 27.

This was announced by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi at the regular press conference here this afternoon.

Sun said that during the visit, President Jiang will hold talks with President Nazarbayev. Besides Beijing, the Kazakhstan guests will also visit south China's Hainan Province.

"The visit will definitely play a positive role in enhancing bilateral good-neighborly relations and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in all fields," Sun said.
