World US First Lady Visits West Bank

United States First Lady Hillary Clinton arrived in the West Bank town of Ramallah on a private visit to the Palestinian self-rule areas on the noon of November 11.

Reports reaching here said that Hillary will meet with Soha Arafat, wife of Palestinian National Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat, and other prominent Palestinian figures.

She earlier arrived in Israel on her fifth visit to the region.

Israeli media reports said Hillary's visit aims at attracting Jewish votes in her bid to win a New York senate seat in the coming US congress elections.
