World Indonesian President Visits Laos

Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid and his wife have paid a brief goodwill visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Lao official news agency KPL reported on November 8.

During the visit, Wahid had talks on the relations of economic cooperation between the two countries with Lao President Khamtay Siphandone and Lao Prime Minister Sisavath Keobouphanh.

Before his visit to Laos, the Indonesian President had visited Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand. Wahid will also visit Cambodia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
