These companies are mainly from emerging industries such as computers, pharmaceuticals, and aviation, according to a source attending the '99 Forum on China's B-Share Market. Experts say that the entry of more successful companies will be conducive to the sound development of the B-share market. They say the market is expected to have a bright future with the implementation of the Securities Law and rapid growth of the national economy. The two-day forum in Shanghai has attracted over 200 scholars and investors from about a dozen countries including the United States, Britain, Japan, France, the Netherlands, the Republic of Korea, and Switzerland.
