South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will announce more than 700 projects for investment at the Guangxi International Folk Song and Art Festival trade fair, local officials announced in Nanning Nobember 8.

The fair will be held November 11-16 in Nanning, the regional capital.

Among these projects, 157 are key projects in the region and the other 600 involve small and medium projects in several economic zones, they said.

The projects include infrastructure construction, environmental protection, agricultural development, energy, tourism, and computers and the electronic information industry.

According to organizers, the fair is expected to attract over 4, 000 participants, including 500 businesspeople and representatives from overseas organizations operating in China.

The event will feature over 880 business booths.

Guangxi has a population of 46 million people, including 16 million members of the Zhuang ethnic group.
