Culture China's First International Entertainment Trade Fair to Open

Nearly 100 entertainment brokers, performing groups, and venue providers from 10 countries and regions have registered for the upcoming International Entertainment Trade Fair from November 10-12 in Shanghai, the first trade fair of its kind in the country.

Such big-name entertainment brokers as Germany's Bertelsmann group, Japan's Danger Crue and Sony, and the Myers Talent Agency from the United States have showed keen interest in the trade fair, one of major events during the Shanghai International Arts Festival, which opened on November 1 and will run until December 1.

The event will provide a venue for entertainers worldwide to increase exchanges and cooperation with counterparts elsewhere, and will provide an excellent opportunity for China to pursue the trading of entertaining programs. (Xinhua)
