Education Symposium on Sino-Egyptian Relations Opens

An international symposium on Sino-Egyptian relations, sponsored by the Foreign Affairs College of China, opened in Beijing on November 5.

In the two-day event, more than 40 participants from China and Egypt will hold in-depth discussions on the Sino-Egyptian political relations, Sino-Egyptian economic cooperation and Sino- Egyptian cooperation in international affairs.

The symposium was initiated according to an agreement signed between the two countries early this year, which says that the two sides alternate academic activities focusing on bilateral relations.

Senior foreign ministry officials of the two countries attended the opening ceremony.
