Education Digital Library Services in Jiangsu

East China's Jiangsu Province is introducing digital technique into its libraries to give more people access to the Internet.

The province has recently initiated a three-year digital library project which aims at building a regional information network.

Supported by a computerized network, the digital library will include a number of databases on historical documents, cultural and scientific achievements, geographic and weather video materials. China's major networks will be linked to the project.

Jiangsu province will also have a number of websites on education, electronic business, government affairs and information technology. (Xinhua)
