On May 8, 2014, the Cross-Strait Tea Culture Summit Forum took place in Wuyishan, Fujian Province, bringing together more than 60 renowned experts and scholars, entrepreneurs and religionists from the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Over 800 attendees discussed issues such as "Inheritance and Innovation of Tea Culture", "Tea and Belief" and "Tea and Modern Society", explored the quintessence of tea culture from multiple perspectives, and exchanged the research findings of tea culture for the purpose of carrying forward tea culture, promoting social progress and contributing to the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the harmony of the world.
Under the title of "Tea-Borne Belief", the secretary of the CPC Pu'er Municipal Committee introduced the green ecology and tea culture of Pu'er city, which gained unanimous praise from attendees. The summit became a special meeting focusing on Pu'er Tea and Pu'er Tea culture.
