(Pu'er Daily on April 1) The opening ceremony of the Leading Group Office for Pu'er Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Garden World Cultural Heritage Application Work and the Protection and Management Bureau for Pu'er Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Garden was held in the Pu'er Municipal Administration of Culture, signaling that the application work and protection and management work of Pu'er Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Garden are on the right track gradually.

After more than three years into the efforts to have Pu'er Jingmai Mountain Ancient Tea Garden registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, key achievements of four stages have been already obtained. Currently, the documents prepared for the "application for the list of world heritage" have already gone through several rounds of in-depth discussion by experts and further amendments before they were submitted to the State Administration of Cultural Heritage for approval.
