NANNING, April 18 (Xinhua) -- Police in a South China city said on Thursday that they have expelled eight Vietnamese who snuck into China without legal documents.
The eight people were stopped Tuesday in the city of Liuzhou in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which borders Vietnam. They failed to present any identification during a routine check on the train.
The illegal immigrants, who came from Vietnam's Cao Bang Province, moved across the border on March 6 and went to work in Guangdong Province, border control officers said.
