Xi's special envoy to attend Venezuelan president's inauguration

BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy will attend the inauguration of new Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, a spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

E'uigen Iminbaha, vice-chairman of China's National People's Congress Standing Committee, will attend the ceremony on Friday, Hua Chunying said at a daily news briefing.

E'uigen Iminbaha will visit at the invitation of the Venezuelan government, she added.
