Workers buried in central China construction accident, casualties unknown

WUHAN, Nov. 21 -- Over a dozen workers were buried in a scaffold collapse at a construction site in central China's Hubei Province on Wednesday, local authorities said Thursday.

The accident happened around 7 p.m. on the fifth story of an under-construction building in Nanzhang County when the scaffold collapsed suddenly.

Firefighters have rescued six workers from the site as of early morning of Thursday but several still remain buried. Casualties are still unknown
