Five trapped in quarry collapse in north China

SHIJIAZHUANG, Nov. 16 -- Five people were trapped after a quarry collapsed in north China's Hebei Province Saturday evening, local authorities said.

The accident occurred at about 5:10 p.m. at a quarry in Dafangezhuang Village in Changli County, trapping five workers, the county government said in a statement.

A rescue operation is under way.
