Scientists at Hangzhou Dianzi University have recently announced the successful development of a biomaterial 3D printer. Scientists already managed to print out human ear cartilage and hepatic cell using polymer materials, inorganic materials, water gel materials and living cells.

The team leader said the 3D printer is named Regenovo. Regenovo can print in sterile conditions and the survival rate of printed cells is about 90 percent. The living cells printed can survive as long as four months.
