Zhang climbs up the cliff with assistance of his colleagues although he knows the terrain very well. A false step could have cost his life. He's nearly 50, but he is called Spider Man by his colleagues because he can climb up and down the cliff with ease. (Photo by Li Xianglei/

Zhang Bin, 46, is a sanitation worker on Mount Tai. He has been working in South-Sky Gate scenic spot for a decade. His job is walking trails and paths to pick up garbage left by those visitors who, for whatever reason, still litter in defiance of the “warm prompt”. Reporter recorded a day of Zhang Bin with cameras on May 1, 2013, the last day of the 3-day holidays.
