A family lives in a 10-meter-long fishing smack that is aground beside a pier of the bridge over Jialing River in Chongqing city. According to the owner of the fishing smack, a flood last year dramatically raised the water level, leaving the fishing smack stuck under the bridge. The owner’s family has been living in the fishing smack since the flood of Jialing Rive last year. Although the water has already receded, the family has no plan to move out of their fishing smack.
