Chinese naval fleet conducts maritime search and rescue training in Pacific Ocean

A warship taskforce under the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLAN) comprising the guided-missile destroyer "Qingdao", the guided-missile frigate "Linyi" and the shipboard helicopters conducted a maritime search and rescue training in a sea area of the Pacific Ocean, on Aug. 28, 2013. The training has effectively tested and enhanced the ships' emergency handling capability under complex conditions.
