BEIJING, August 27 (ChinaMil) –Jia Ting'an, deputy director of the General Political Department (GPD) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), met with Pitagoras, the visiting chief procurator of the Angolan Military Procuratorate, and his party on the afternoon of August 26, 2013 in Beijing.
Jia Ting'an first extended his welcome to Pitagoras and his party for their visit to China. He said that China-Angola relations have always been developing steadily and smoothly since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The relationship between the two militaries is an important component of the bilateral relationship. The increasing friendly contacts at all levels and the solid cooperation in various fields between the two sides have not only promoted the building of their respective national defense and militaries, but also played a positive role in pushing forward the development of the relations between the two countries.
The Chinese side is willing to make joint efforts with the Angolan side to constantly push forward the development of the friendly cooperation between the two militaries, so as to better serve the building of their respective militaries, and also make the two militaries become important force for maintaining China-Angola friendly relations.
Pitagoras expressed that Angola-China exchanges have become increasingly close with the joint efforts of both sides, and the Angolan side is willing to carry out closer exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese side, so as to promote in-depth development of the bilateral military relations.
