--Chinese President Xi Jinping says the party will outline economic and social reforms at the Third Plenary meeting. Xi says, the Communist party should balance reforms, development and stability. When talked about China’s reform at the APEC meeting in Bali, Indonesia earlier this month, Xi said the road ahead will be bumpy, and he is well-prepared for any possible cost from the reform.
--China’s Premier Li Keqiang said, the party will deepen reform, strengthen on long-term economic growth and social welfare, shift the currently weak domestic demand to one of the pillars of economic growth.
--Yu Zhengsheng, member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party, promised the reforms will be "unprecedented in scope and strength."
