Freshly retired from the world of professional football, David Beckham has his sights set on the silver screen.
We are not just talking about acting, but a feature length biopic.
Speaking to TalkSport, the legendary footballer said that Brad Pitt would be the obvious choice to star as himself, but that he could settle for Leonardo DiCaprio or Bradley Cooper.
This comes after reports that Beckham was considering a part as a villain in Matthew Vaughn's upcoming thriller "The Secret Service".
Indeed fans of the sports star as well as his Spice Girl wife have all been chiding him to make a step into Hollywood, where producers say that his mammoth star quality would sure guarantee a smooth transition into movie-stardom.
Pitt will be appearing in The Class of 92, a documentary about the Manchester United youth team which included Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, Gary and Phil Neville amongst its alumni.
The Class of 92 will be screened in select UK cinemas on December 1st, followed by a DVD release a day later.
