Japanese golfer Shohei Hasegawa and South Korean Lee Chang-woo shared the lead with an even par 142 in the second day of the Asia-Pacific amateur golf championship held in eastern China's Longkou.
Chinese Dou Zecheng who led in the first round ranked third today, shooting 1-over 143.
Hasegawa shot 1-over 70 today to finish at even par 142 after two rounds. Lee Chang-woo who tied for first shot 1-over 72 today at even par 142.
Dou Zecheng made a stuttering start in the cold wind of Longkou, he had two bogeys at first three holes. Finally, he shot 4-over 75 today.
"I saw the possibility of winning the champion, and I want to expand my lead. It made me distracted." Dou said. "The wind also affected my play."
The defending champion Chinese Guan Tianlang ranked the 17th, shooting 6-over 148.
After two days, the top 60 (including ties) players will qualify for the last two days of play.
The Asia-Pacific amateur championship offers the winner an invitation to the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. The champion and runner(s)-up earn spots in International Final Qualifying (IFQ) for The Open Championship.
