China shares soar over reported stimulous plan

BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares jumped to a three-week high Thursday over media reports that financing rules may be partially relaxed for real estate firms.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index jumped 3.23 percent, or 64.86points, to end at 2,072.99.

The Shenzhen Component Index soared 4.25 percent, or 333.52 points, to 8,184.77.
