The investigations by U.S. and Japanese aviation authorities into the battery problems of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner are spilling further.
The probes have now started into the manufacturer of the planes’ monitoring system. Japanese authorities said on Monday the probe into battery-maker GS Yuasa was over for now, as no evidence was found it was the source of the problem.
In the meantime, ministry officials said they are inspecting Kanto Aircraft Instrument Company as part of the ongoing investigation.
