Five bodies found at helicopter crash site in Far Eastern Russia

VLADIVOSTOK, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Five bodies were found Saturday at the crash site of an Mi-8 helicopter in Russia's Far East, authorities reported.

The wreckage and the remains of four crew members and a passenger were discovered about 37 kilometers northwest of Polina Osipenko, said the Far Eastern office of the Emergencies Ministry.

The Mi-8 disappeared Thursday while flying in the Khabarovsk Krai region with five people and three tons of cargo on board.
