Georgian PM meets Soros over investment environment

TBILISI, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili met here Saturday with Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros, said a prime ministerial press statement.

The two "talked about improvement of investment climate in Georgia," said the statement. "They planned meetings with representatives of leading business circles of the world at the economic forum in Davos. The forum will be attended by Bidzina Ivanishvili."

George Soros, who is on a private visit to Georgia, last visited Tbilisi in May 2005.

A billionaire-turned-politician, Ivanishvili is ranked 153rd among the world's wealthiest, while George Soros is ranked 22nd. The former is estimated to be worth 6.4 billion U.S. dollars while the latter is worth 20 billion dollars.
