Beijing Garden Expo to hold a variety of events in Sept.

The 9th China (Beijing) International Garden Expo will feature a variety of exciting activities this month, including displaying the giant rubber duck, exciting singing performances, and Brazilian dance.

The giant rubber duck will be on display from September 6 to 23. The platform around it can accommodate 5000 to 6000 people.

The Brazilian culture week ran from August 28 to September 11. A Samba dance troupe from Rio de Janeiro has given a dazzling performance. Visitors to the expo have also appreciate the national flower – the hairy crab claw.

Members participated in the flower parade. From September 7 to 8, characters from foreign cinema will be on display, including Quasimodo, Cleopatra and Harry Potter. From September 14 to 15, visitors will be able enjoy the Kung Fu Panda show. From September 28 to 29, there will be a show based on the traditional changing masks of Sichuan Opera.

During the Mid-Autumn festival, the expo will hold activities including a graffiti contest. Internet users can also play the expo’s online games on WeChat, and other social media networks.
