Shenzhou-10 astronauts reach Beijing

BEIJING, June 26 (Xinhua) -- The three astronauts that were aboard the Shenzhou-10 arrived in Beijing on Wednesday afternoon via a charter flight after completing China's longest manned space mission to date.

Nie Haisheng, commander of the Shenzhou-10 crew and a second-time space traveler, Wang Yaping, the only female astronaut of the mission, and Zhang Xiaoguang returned to Earth early Wednesday morning, landing in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The three will enter a period of medical quarantine and undergo comprehensive medical examinations and health evaluations.
